No news is... no news.

I’ve been getting a few inquiries lately about when I’ll be able to reopen, and unfortunately I just don’t know yet. All I can tell you is I’m still here, and I’m still looking forward to getting back to doing massage once it’s safe to do so.

It seems likely that social distancing measures will continue to be required for quite a while even as businesses reopen, which puts massage therapy in kind of a tight spot. Telecommuting isn’t exactly an option, and there is really no way to keep six feet between you and your massage therapist. (Although, have you seen the video of barbers in China giving hair cuts using tools attached to 6-foot poles? Here it is on youtube. If anyone has any brilliant thoughts on how to give a good massage using the end of a pool cue, I’m listening.)

The health and safety of my clients and our community is very important to me, and I am paying close attention to new guidelines being developed for massage therapists to help minimize the risk of disease transmission.

Whenever I do have a reopening date I will send out a notification via email; in the mean time I’ll continue to post updates here.

I hope you’re staying well!

If we must be stuck at home, is there a more beautiful place for it than the Pacific Northwest in spring??
